I was prescribed opiates for many years for chronic pain. I had tried everything to get off of them because they were having an awful affect on my body (not to mention the serious sickness that ensued if the pharmacy was back ordered). I even went so far as to try Suboxone to get off opioids… but, that was even more addictive and had just as harsh side effects.
After a lot of research, I found out that some people were having a lot of success getting off opiates by using Kratom. I tried that and it worked! Thank the Lord! The only issue was that the kratom simply prevented the detox sickness. It didn’t help with the constant pain I was in.
The lady at my local smoke shop suggested I try the “On-7 Relief” tablets since they were basically a stronger, more concentrated type of kratom. Those worked even better but still didn’t do a whole lot for my pain.
Finally, after some experimenting, I tried OPIA tablets. They are amazing. Not only did they help me stay off of the opiates for good (no more doctor visits every month either), they are the only natural supplement that has actually helped me with my pain.

I didn’t think it really did, at first, but I think that perhaps the cumulative effect of taking it every day has led to some decent pain relief. Of course it is nothing like what an opiate would do. But, the OPIA does have a sort of numbing quality to it. So, it really helps take the edge off my pain and allows me to function during the day, when I need to run around after my kids. (Downside: It does have the same “numbing effect” during more intimate activities- not completely but, enough to make it a little frustrating lol).

It also gives me a little boost in energy and focus so I haven’t been having to take my stimulant ADHD medication as well! It’s amazing.
The one HUGE drawback, for anyone who would want to consider it as a natural alternative, is that it is unbelievably expensive. The only other ‘con’ is that there isn’t really much information about the effects of long term use. I’m pretty sure this product has a dependence forming effect. I can tell that if I don’t take it in the morning, first thing as I usually do, I start to feel not-so-hot. I couldn’t tell you how severe that unwell feeling gets, as I haven’t ever had a day to just “wait and see”… but I assume it wouldn’t be anything near as bad as the withdrawals from prescription medications.
All in all, it has been a lifesaver… albeit a very expensive one.
